Lemieux played in the NHL for at least 17 seasons between 1984-2006.  He was born in Montreal, QC on October 5, 1965.  He played centre position and his national team was Canada.  He retired in 1997.

Although I’m not posting a picture of Mario Lemieux, I am posting a picture of Mario Bros. to represent my red, blue and white theme.

Mario was created by video game designer, Shigeru Miyamoto.  Mario is Nintendo’s mascot and appeared in over 200 video games since his creation.  He was first seen as “Jumpman” in the arcade game Donkey Kong on July 9, 1981.
