What is the first step we need to do to hire you for our wedding?
You can simply write us an email with all your wedding details. Such as date and location. If we are available on your wedding date. We will book our first free consultation and discuss your wedding needs in person.
How many hours will you cover our wedding?
We offer different packages with different coverage. We can shoot as little as 4 hours or up to 12 hours. The best way to determine how many hours is the perfect fit for you is to meet with us for a free consultation.
How much deposit do you require?
Our payments are divided in three installments. First payment is due upon booking to secure your wedding date with us. Second payment is due three months before the wedding and the last payment is due when you receive your products.
How far should we book in advance?
Typically 6-12 months is ideal. But we’ve booked weddings with as little as 4 weekds notice! (Luckily, we were available!)
Will you be shooting the wedding?
We will be shooting your wedding. We are a husband and wife team and all the work in our portfolio is solely ours. Therefore, WE will shoot your wedding and not someone that works under our name.
Do you shoot with an assistant?
Yes. We shoot with an assistant if needed.
Do you travel?
Yes. We will travel to your location. Depending on the location, we will arrive a day before the event to help ensure unexpected travel delays. We’ve travelled to the south of France for a wedding, along with other US destinations. And of course, across Canada.
Do you take getting-ready shots?
The getting ready shots are some of my favorite photos to shoot! I am able to capture all the energy and emotion of family and friends in attendance during the getting ready portion of the day.
What equipment do you use?
We use Canon gear for both photo and cinema. From bodies to lenses to flashes.
When will I get to see my wedding photos?
We do ALL the editing ourselves. We do not hire or outsource editors because we want careful attention given to every wedding we shoot. So typically, it takes 2-4 months.
Do you offer albums?
Yes we offer custom albums in varying sizes. Please inquire for sizes and prices.
Who chooses the photographs in the album?
We choose the photos and lay out the photos for your album. We will send you a pdf file for any minor modification. If you want a photo or two replaced with another photo, we can honor that request. However, for an extensive re-edit, there will be a fee. I do advice that you allow me to design your album since I will be able to tell your story through the pictures I captured.
Will I see my pictures online?
Yes. I will post some of my fave shots on our FB page and blog. Please feel free to share with friends and family.
Do you shoot video?
Yes. We definitely shoot video and we refer to our videos as films or cinema. We offer a unique approach to wedding videography (please view our cinema portfolio) and we can definitely offer both photo and cinema services.
Do we get a discount if we hire you for both photo and cinema?
Yes. There are benefits and other discounts applied if you hire us for both services. We can discuss details during our consultation.
